Job Summary
Team Lead role within Paytm’s Oil & Gas team focusing on growing offline transactions and users. Responsible for managing programs for Clients/Brands, accelerating core growth metrics in sales & distribution, guiding a working group, and ensuring efficient resource utilization. Develop plans and strategies to achieve sales goals, hire and build a new team, define optimal sales force structure, coordinate training programs, manage customer expectations, and improve sales processes. Educate merchants about the benefits of the Swipe machine (EDC) and manage accounts. Requires exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with ability to independently and collaboratively execute sales strategies. Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in business/marketing or related field; 2+ years in distribution fintech/banking/EDC sales; willingness to travel; strong local-language proficiency. Location: Kochi, Kerala, India.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 2+ yrs in distribution sales fintech, Banking/ Sales, EDC Sales
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Should have a strong understanding of the local language
