Job Summary

Key Account Manager to own and grow relationships with Capi’s most important corporate clients across Africa, blending commercial strategy, relationship management, and customer success to ensure top clients derive maximum value from Capi’s international payments platform. You will identify growth opportunities within key accounts, act as their trusted partner, and advocate for their needs internally. This is a field-oriented role involving both office work in Africa and regular client visits across key business hubs. The role requires building trusted relationships, driving retention and revenue expansion, collaborating with product/ops/compliance, and leveraging CRM/data to monitor performance. Proficiency in French and English, ability to operate across emerging markets, and willingness to travel for client engagements are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles within high-performing environments, ideally in fintech, banking, international payments, or B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record in managing senior-level client relationships and driving revenue growth
  • Experience working in or with emerging markets
  • Fluent in French with professional proficiency in English (and local languages a plus)
  • Flexibility to split time between office work and field visits nationwide to strengthen client relationships
