Key Account Lead

Job Summary
Prospect and acquire new high-revenue business customers from large corporations, SMEs, NGOs, and government institutions within Mali. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for decision-makers to propose customized solutions, then negotiate contract terms and close deals. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track key performance indicators using the CRM tool while providing structured field feedback to Product and Marketing teams. This role requires fluent French and professional English, along with at least five years of B2B sales experience. Based in our Bamako office with potential travel to upcountry locations, the position offers competitive salary, health insurance, parental leave, and subsidized childcare.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Work authorization in Mali
- This is a permanent position
- A degree in sales, project management, finance, international relations, business management, or a comparable field
- French: Fluent (spoken and written)
- English: Professional proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an international company
- Experience in a bank
- Experience in a mobile money company
- Experience in a similar position (ideally in an international company, a bank, a mobile money company, or similar)
- Complete mastery of the B2B sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiating complex contracts
- An existing and relevant professional network in Abidjan (particularly with CFOs, HR Directors, and CEOs of large companies)
- Excellent communication, active listening skills, and persuasive ability
- Ability to adapt discourse for high-level stakeholders
- Being 'mission-driven'
- Having an appetite for challenge
- A demonstrated culture of performance (a track record of exceeding targets)
- The ability to work proactively and organized in a very dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
