Job Summary
Ketjen's Summer 2026 Data Science Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time internship for rising sophomores and juniors pursuing an ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in data science/CS/statistics/analytics. Interns will gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Django, contributing to data-driven projects at Albemarle's Ketjen subsidiary, with potential full-time conversion opportunities and relocation housing for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior at an ABET-accredited university
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
- GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) for 12 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior industrial or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
- Experience with SQL Server/SSMS
- Experience with Python and Django (PyCharm IDE)
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for code versioning and project tracking
- Ability to participate in multiple Ketjen Internship/Co-Op sessions
- Interest in internship-to-full-time conversion opportunities
