Job Summary
Ketamine Infusion Nurse at Serenity Healthcare delivers safe IV ketamine infusions in an outpatient clinic, monitors patients, documents thoroughly, and provides emotional support and telehealth assistance as needed. Responsibilities include administering ketamine via IV, patient care throughout the treatment process, explaining the infusion to patients and families, maintaining sterile technique and infection control, and supporting providers and patients through telehealth when not infusing. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient experience, and flexibility, with a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio and three 12-hour shifts per week (alternating Saturdays, no Sundays). Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) License – current, active and unrestricted
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
- Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a focus on patient experience
- Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
