Job Summary
Administer ketamine via IV while closely monitoring patients and ensuring their comfort throughout treatment. Explain the infusion process to patients and families to build confidence, and provide calm emotional support during every step. Demonstrate thorough documentation and offer telehealth support to providers and patients when not administering infusions. Maintain flexibility to jump in where needed as a team. This outpatient clinic role features a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio and utilizes advanced medical devices for long-term patient success.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) License – current, active and unrestricted
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
- Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a focus on patient experience
- Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
- This position is contingent on successfully completing a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire
