Job Summary
Administer ketamine via IV while monitoring patients and managing care in a calm, supportive outpatient clinic setting. Provide thorough documentation, explain treatment procedures to patients and families, and offer emotional reassurance throughout the process. Deliver telehealth support to providers and patients when not administering infusions, maintaining flexibility to jump in where needed. Work three 12-hour shifts weekly with alternating Saturdays and no Sundays, maintaining a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio. This role utilizes advanced medical devices to deliver long-term success for patients with failed traditional treatments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) License – current, active and unrestricted
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
- Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a focus on patient experience
- Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
- This position is contingent on successfully completing a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire
