Job Summary
Administer ketamine via IV while monitoring patients, managing care, and ensuring comfort throughout treatment. Explain infusion procedures to patients and families to inspire confidence, providing calm emotional support and thorough documentation. Offer telehealth support to providers and patients when not administering infusions, remaining flexible to jump in where needed on a team basis. Work three 12-hour shifts weekly with alternating Saturdays and no Sundays, maintaining a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio in an outpatient clinic. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) License – current, active and unrestricted
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
- Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a focus on patient experience
- Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
- This position is contingent on successfully completing a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire
