Ketamine Infusion Nurse

Job Summary
Administer ketamine via IV while monitoring patients and managing care in a calm, supportive setting. Provide thorough documentation and explain the infusion process to patients and families to inspire confidence. Offer calm emotional support throughout treatment and assist providers and patients via telehealth when not administering infusions. Maintain flexibility to jump in where needed as a team. This role operates with a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio in an outpatient clinic, featuring three 12-hour shifts weekly with alternating Saturdays and no Sundays. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) License – current, active and unrestricted
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
- Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a focus on patient experience
- Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
- Successfully completing a criminal background check
- Successfully completing a drug screen
