Job Summary
Collaborate with District and Building Leadership Teams to develop and implement Magnet school programming; support teachers and staff using UbD framework, equity principles, and professional learning to deliver district vision. Responsibilities include coordinating teacher leadership, facilitating adult learning and PLCs, mentoring/coaching teachers, aligning with NASOT/HRS standards, and supporting recruitment and family/community relations to ensure equitable access to magnet schools. Requires collaboration with district administration, community partners, and teaching staff; may be assigned to one or more magnet schools; position is 1.0 FTE with potential additional days for professional learning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Standard Teaching License with five years of teaching experience with at least three years of experience in the Cedar Rapids Community School District preferred (FTE release positions)
