Job Summary
Delivers excellent service to YMCA members, guests, and program participants, responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, conducts interviews and/or tours to prospective members, signs members and participants up for programs and events, builds relationships with members and helps connect them with one another, handles and resolves membership concerns, and maintains the lobby area with cleanliness and organization.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED and First Aid
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Previous customer service, sales or related experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
