Job Summary
Manage logistical support for transporting personnel and canines to pre-determined locations within Northern Virginia. Drive vehicles to transport canines, feed, walk, exercise, and bathe dogs as needed. Administer medications per veterinarian instructions, clean kennels and facilities, and maintain inventory. Provide daily log and incident reports while assisting with training floor preparation and food prep. Requires a valid driver's license, Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance, and availability for weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Possess, or be able to obtain, a minimum Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) level clearance
- Valid driver's license
- No prior work experience required
- Knowledge of traffic and safety regulations, practices and procedures pertaining to motor vehicle operation, and passenger safety rules
- Ability to read installation maps to determine the shortest and safest route
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Availability on weekends and holidays to tend to kenneled canines
