Job Summary
Walk dogs and supervise playgroups, feed pets and administer medications, and clean and sanitize pet rooms and common areas. Monitor pet health, behavior, and interactions; document care notes and communicate with leadership. Engage pets in enrichment activities like fetch, walks, and basic obedience games while comforting shy guests and managing high-energy groups. Perform laundry and general facility upkeep, including scooping poop and cleaning messes. This full-time role requires weekend and holiday shifts, physical ability to lift 60 lbs, and comfort with pet messes and cleaning products. Required Qualifications
- Passionate about dogs and cats
- Gentle, patient, and safety-focused
- Comfortable supervising multiple dogs at once
- Able to recognize and prevent conflicts in playgroups
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
- Friendly and comfortable speaking with pet parents
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
- Able to handle large and small dogs confidently
- Weekend availability required
- Holiday shifts required
