Job Summary
Kennel Lead, responsible for organizing, documenting, overseeing and performing duties related to boarding pets, coordinating with veterinary staff to ensure medical needs are met, interacting with clients, and performing care tasks (walking, feeding, exercising, supervising play groups, medications, cleanliness). Must work with veterinary assistants, technicians and doctors; benefits package included; located in Haymarket, VA. Experience in animal-care and ability to collaborate with clinical team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in kennel or animal-care roles preferred
- Ability to work with veterinary staff to meet medical needs of animals
- Ability to walk, feed, exercise, supervise play groups, administer medications as directed
- Strong documentation and organization skills
