Job Summary
Supervise the health and behavior of up to 25 dogs while feeding, grooming, and ensuring their safety. Maintain kennel and common area cleanliness to provide a hygienic environment. Stand or walk for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Work at a quick, efficient pace with a positive attitude in a team-oriented setting. Monitor dog groups actively to ensure they have fun and interact well.
Required Qualifications
- Able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs if needed
- Able to comfortably stand/walk for an entire shift
- Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time
- A positive and energetic attitude is a must
- Must be able to work at a quick and efficient pace
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal handling or care
- Familiarity with dog training techniques
- Knowledge of basic pet grooming practices
