Job Summary
Handle animal restraint, walk patients requiring support, and administer medication while maintaining cleanliness of the boarding area and clinic. Restock kennel supplies, bathe and groom animals, and apply basic husbandry and nutrition knowledge to patient care. Continue advancing your skill set through hands-on experience in this full-time role. The position requires the ability to lift and restrain pets up to 40 pounds, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds
- Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
- Team player, have patience and maintain a positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting (CSR, kennel attendant, vet assistant, other), preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve
