Provide care for patients visiting for grooming and boarding by admitting them with specific client instructions, recording feeding schedules and behavior, and administering medication as needed under supervision. Walk patients multiple times daily for exercise and elimination, apply special food and liquids, and restrain difficult patients when necessary. Maintain hygiene by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing cages, runs, and hospital grounds; launder towels and blankets; and ensure all personal property is stored securely. Observe patients for signs of illness or discontent and verify they are clean and fresh before discharge. Work a flexible schedule including Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and alternating weekends from 7:45 AM to 6:30 PM.
