Job Summary
Provide care for patients visiting for grooming and boarding by admitting them, recording feeding schedules and behavior, and observing physical conditions. Walk patients several times daily to exercise them and manage elimination, while administering medication as needed under supervision. Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning cages, runs, and stalls, disinfecting areas to control disease spread, and laundering towels and blankets. Restrain hard-to-control patients and ensure proper identification and storage of personal property before discharge. Work weekends as required and lift patients up to 25 pounds, adhering to OSHA safety techniques.
