Job Summary
Optimize maintenance efficiency and reliability by developing preventive and predictive schedules, converting requests into executable work orders, and managing parts inventory within the CMMS. Supervise the Facility Utility, Day Porter, and Commercial Cleaning teams by planning daily activities, coaching new hires, and enforcing safety and housekeeping protocols. Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure data integrity and KPI reporting while supporting new equipment installations and commissioning documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing, foundry, or machining operations
- 2+ years in a planning or CMMS role
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Maximo, eMaint, Maintenance Pro, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform tasks throughout an active heavy manufacturing operation
- Ability to be exposed to elements, such as cold, heat, noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
- Occasional off-shift or weekend work availability
- Ability to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties requested by their supervisor in compliance with Federal and State Laws
- Ability to possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
- Equivalent experience considered
- Preferred certifications: CMRP, OSHA 30-hour, or Maintenance Safety Certification
