Job Summary
KEM mérnök/EHS Engineer responsible for coordinating environmental, health and safety tasks within the production environment. Duties include ongoing production-area EHS support, conducting site inspections and audits, using Gensuite for compliance and reporting (ATS, Compliance Calendar, Concern reporting), incident reporting and investigation, EHS training, documenting incidents and near-misses, maintaining records in the system, Stop Work management, change management, regular Gemba rounds and meetings, and collaboration with manufacturing to achieve EHS objectives in line with applicable laws and corporate requirements. The role is based at GE Vernova Veresegyház with a multi-faceted benefits package and company-supported commuting options.
Required Qualifications
- MSc/BSc degree in a relevant field
- At least mid-level specialized qualification
- Fluency in Hungarian and English
- Relevant experience in either manufacturing or regulatory environments
- Strong communication skills
- Good teamwork and reliable, thorough work ethic
