Job Summary
As a Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator, you will practice safety rules, follow instructions, and maintain quality work based on project specifications. Responsibilities include mobilizing and demobilizing equipment, ensuring proper maintenance of tools and vehicles, and working as part of a team. The role requires physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and operating in various environmental conditions. A valid driver's license is mandatory, alongside a preference for candidates with Class A CDL. Experience with excavating near underground utilities is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience excavating near underground utilities
- Valid driver’s license required
Desired Qualifications
- Class A CDL with airbrakes and tanker endorsement preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy
- Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company
- Must be clean shaven and able to work while wearing a respirator and other personal protective equipment, when required
