Job Summary
Forecast department goals, manage inventory, and oversee purchasing procedures to maintain profitability. Supervise all personnel, including hiring, scheduling, and enforcing safety protocols like forklift training and OSHA compliance. Coordinate with Service and Body Shop managers to ensure timely parts turnaround, analyze monthly sales and expense reports, and develop aggressive wholesale programs. Direct shipping and receiving efforts while monitoring daily productivity metrics. Handle customer complaints immediately and enforce pricing policies that balance volume and loyalty.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Two years of supervisory experience
- One year of experience in an automotive parts department
- Excellent communication and managerial skills
- Computer skills
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Good driving record
