Job Summary
Instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games; work to develop positive working relations with students, parents, teachers, and administrators; collaborate with other head coaches and assistants; comply with IHSAA/MSAC rules and FWCS policies, including code of ethics; prerequisites include SPB/Minibus certification before the season and a valid driver’s license; preferred candidate may teach at Kekionga Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year; non-FWCS teachers must be available 3:30 PM Monday–Friday; emphasizes high academic and athletic expectations and the ability to support student-athletes from diverse backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer candidate with high school coaching experience
- Valid Driver's License required
- Must have or be willing to get SPB/ Minibus certification before season
- If applicant is a current FWCS teacher, fulfill daily contracted hours before coaching; if not FWCS teacher, available 3:30 Monday through Friday afternoons
