Job Summary
Assistant Manager for KD Discount Tire oversees daily operations of the KD Discount Tire Sales and Service departments, supervising sales staff and tire technicians, scheduling work, ensuring high-quality repairs and services, maintaining customer satisfaction, monitoring workflow, coordinating with the store manager to improve efficiency, managing parts and tools inventory, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and providing training and development opportunities to staff. Must lead with a focus on customer service, operational efficiency, and ongoing staff development in a full-time shop environment in Anchorage, AK.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in automotive aftermarket accessories industry, with at least 1 year experience working as a technician is preferred
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license a good driving record are required
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
