Job Summary
Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for two young children while managing their needs simultaneously. Create engaging, educational activities that encourage reading, imaginative play, and hands-on learning. Support daily routines including meals, naps, baths, and bedtime, and prepare healthy meals and snacks. Assist with family laundry, maintain organization of children's spaces, and handle grocery shopping and household inventory management. Perform light household maintenance such as tidying common areas and kitchen cleanup, and assist with occasional errands. Travel domestically and internationally with the family, maintaining a highly engaged, screen-free approach. Collaborate closely with parents while taking initiative independently.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously
- Experience supporting busy households as both a nanny and family assistant
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Proactive and able to anticipate household needs
- Warm, engaging, and energetic personality
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Comfortable collaborating closely with hands-on parents
- Professional, flexible, and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills
- Career nanny with outstanding professional references
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Confident swimmer, non-negotiable
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Valid passport and willingness to travel
- Legally authorized to work as a W-2 employee
- Comfortable driving in the Hamptons
- Non-smoker
- Up-to-date vaccines and tetanus
