Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections of all areas to ensure the building remains secure and safe for associates and members of management. Oversee associate traffic in and out of entrances, review active and terminated associate listings, and represent Melaleuca professionally to vendors and management. Handle personal property appropriately, manage key distribution for authorized personnel, and report hazardous situations like spills or broken glass to Maintenance immediately. Receive deliveries from carriers such as FedEx and UPS, ensuring packages reach the correct associates. Maintain daily logs of shift activities, conduct consistent security inspections throughout the plant, and shovel snow while spreading salt or sand. Follow all procedures outlined in the S.O.P. manual.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift
- Written communication skills
- Ability to work under stress
- Sit with intermittent walking
- Communicate (hearing & speech) with individuals in person and by phone
- Visually read reports, computer screen, etc
- Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to work extra hours as need (i.e., July 4th, Christmas parties, etc.)
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Must be able to work 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:3am)
- Must be able to shovel snow from front walk
- Must be able to spread salt/sand
- Must be able to read and follow procedures as outlined in the S.O.P. manual
- Must be able to work in a Non-Smoking Campus environment
- Must be able to work in Kansas City, Missouri
