Job Summary
Field Service Technician IV responsible for expert technical and mechanical support in field service environments such as workshops, compressor stations, and process plants. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert in Reciprocating Compression, engines and compressor diagnostics, startup/commissioning tasks, and advanced product knowledge. Requires leadership and advanced problem-solving, ability to lead commissioning activities, and effective customer communications. Role involves extensive travel (200-300 days/year), long hours including weekends/holidays, and the ability to work in varied environments with physical demands. Education/training includes an associate degree with technical concentration (bachelor’s recommended) or equivalent experience, formal technical certification, and completion of Reciprocating Compression Systems product training. Proficiency in English, Kazakh, and Russian preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree with a technical concentration (Bachelor’s Degree recommended) or equivalent work experience (minimum)
- Formal training in a technical certificate program
- Completion of all Reciprocating Compression Systems product training
- Mastery of Advanced Shop Math Skills
- Mastery of Engine Balancing
- Mastery Web Deflection/Alignment
- English, Kazakh, Russian language proficiency
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Reciprocating Compression
- Ability to travel 200-300 days per year
- Safety-focused and service-oriented
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
