Job Summary
Part-time Residential Stabilization Worker responsible for stabilizing youth in placement in a home-like setting using the Teaching Family Model, handling program operations, documenting progress, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with parents/guardians, schools, social workers, and compliance with licensing standards; duties include budget and administrative tasks, property maintenance, crisis assessment, and ensuring ethical, professional conduct; required English proficiency and a valid driver’s license, with bilingual Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field from an accredited college
- Experience working with youth at risk or their families
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, in the English language
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Must carry own auto insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 coverage
- Ability to maintain records and document case notes daily
- Ability to give and accept feedback as a part of a team
- Ability to traverse within the workspace and community frequently
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs
- Ability to transport at least 25 pounds
- Be willing to learn and work with the treatment philosophies
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
