Operate the checkout counter by scanning and processing customer purchases while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Complete daily cash reconciliation at the end of each shift and assist colleagues at the customer entrance when needed. Work within a two-shift system with flexible hours across a five-day week. Ideal candidates possess a commercial background or prior retail cashier experience, though we welcome career changers with on-the-job training. This role supports METRO's mission to serve over three million customers across Germany's extensive grocery network.
