Job Summary
Senior CNC Machinist Level 4 responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC equipment across milling, turning, and mill-turn platforms. Tasks include full setups on CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines, running first articles, performing inspections, diagnosing and resolving machining issues related to programs, tooling, materials, and setups, providing guidance to other machinists and operators, and recommending improvements in tooling and workholding. Emphasis on leadership, problem-solving, and maintaining production efficiency on a manufacturing floor with PPE and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years CNC machining experience in a production environment
- Highly proficient in interpreting G-code
- Experience with lean manufacturing workflows and terminology
- Proven ability to perform high level setups across multiple machine types
- Demonstrated ability to reduce downtime and improve process reliability
