Karate Instructor (part-time)

Job Summary
Lead and teach assigned karate classes to members, develop positive relationships to personalize classes and encourage participation, and complete class-related duties including attendance records. Collaborate with Fitness staff to provide high-quality service, communicate with staff and management to ensure a strong program within policies, attend required meetings and staff trainings, and support the Association’s mission. Maintain a positive, health-focused environment, demonstrate Shotokan karate techniques, and uphold Four Seasons core values; may assist with additional duties as assigned. Demonstrates passion for health and wellness, safety, and customer satisfaction in a club setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must demonstrate and maintain knowledge of, and technical proficiency with, the Shotokan style of karate; commensurate with the needs of assigned classes.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Excellent judgement, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- CPR/AED certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire, to be maintained throughout employment.
