Job Summary
Kaqchikel Interpreter needed to provide in-person interpretation at client service sites, facilitating communication between minors and Care Staff. Responsibilities include relaying deadlines, translating concerns, orienting minors to resources, and supporting staff with cultural context; work primarily in-person with possible telecommunication support and travel. Requires ILR 2+ proficiency in English and Kaqchikel, valid driver's license, and U.S. work authorization. Employment is temporary, full-time, with potential 24/7 availability and 100% travel if not near a site; may require T2 clearance and compliance with SCA wages.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English and Kaqchikel at ILR level 2+
- Valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- May require T2 Public Trust clearance
- Experience in foster care or medical care settings preferred
