Job Summary
Prepare and cook Popeyes chicken dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain quality and freshness of ingredients, follow food safety guidelines, and operate fryers, grills, and ovens to ensure high-quality, properly cooked items. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate and expedite orders, monitor cooking times and temperatures, and assist in inventory management and training of new kitchen staff. Uphold portion control to minimize waste and maximize profitability, keep the workstation clean and sanitary, and provide friendly service to guests while supporting other areas of the restaurant as needed. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Promotes Popeyes culture and adheres to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and coworkers
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical Demands (lifting and physical requirements)
