Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing in good standing with focus in psychiatry and DEA-prescribing authority. 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience and 1 year treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
