Job Summary
Conduct daily fact-checking and visual analysis of information sources to verify news stories for Yle's audience. Investigate deepfakes, utilize open-source intelligence, and apply data skills to research social media and geolocation evidence. Produce and edit visual content including video, animation, and 3D modeling to present verified findings across online platforms, TV, and radio. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to cover diverse journalistic topics from conflict zones to technology. Publish verified stories that inform the public on digital influence and misinformation.
