Greet patients and healthcare personnel while initiating service transactions, filling, packaging, and providing medications according to established policies and regulations. Input patient and prescription information to produce labels, match prescriptions with labels, and select proper drugs and quantities for dispensing. Perform cashiering duties by collecting cash, checks, or credit card payments, calculating prescription prices, and reconciling daily monies against receipts. Process clinic and hospital drug requisitions, check stock levels, replenish inventory, and deliver medications to designated areas. Maintain accurate OTC charge schedules, order bank supplies, and file transaction documents timely. Refer all patient-care consultations to the pharmacist and coordinate incoming phone calls.
