Job Summary
Daily Substitute Pool role providing same-day or short-term classroom coverage; follow lesson plans and materials provided by teachers; support small groups or individual students; assist with arrival, dismissal, lunch, and hallway duties; manage transitions and uphold school-wide behavior expectations; complete tasks as assigned by School Leadership Team; ensure a safe, positive, and structured learning environment; on-site at Kairos Academies in St. Louis, MO; work schedule Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM; on-call based on daily school needs; fingerprint background check required; compensation $25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a fingerprint background check
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort working with students
- Reliable, punctual, follow school procedures
- Ability to follow lesson plans and carry out tasks with minimal supervision
- Prior experience with children or in a school setting preferred but not required
