Job Summary
Clean and maintain kennel facilities, feed and bathe dogs, and ensure overall safety while handling animals humanely. Observe and assess dog behavior and health concerns, reporting changes to leadership, and participate in enrichment activities as directed. Complete kennel and training logs accurately, follow veterinary instructions, and handle dogs with unknown vaccination histories. Report maintenance issues, assist with product ordering, and maintain buildings and grounds. Work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts, including evenings, while adhering to all PPE and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedule
- Valid driver's license and meet policy requirements for company auto insurance
- Ability to exert a moderate to extensive amount of physical effort, including stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, walking stairs, climbing, and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds individually
- Ability to operate power tools, pressure washers, lawn equipment, etc.
