Job Summary
Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel; trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work; recommends training to enhance skill and productivity; translates broad strategies into practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to perform these plans. Responsible for complying with technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings and procedures, and for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations with significant financial impact. Supervises qualified trades staff and monitors job and budget performance across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree OR Apprentice Certification OR High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience OR Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
