Job Summary
K12 Practice Leader leading the K12 Division, directing the complete lifecycle of educational architecture projects from concept through construction documents, and mentoring design teams across three regional offices. Responsibilities include steering the division’s strategic direction, cultivating client partnerships, integrating complex systems into school environments, and delivering high-visibility projects with a focus on design excellence and impactful educational spaces. Requires 15+ years in architectural design with deep K12 expertise and advanced proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of highly relevant architectural design experience
- Deep proven experience in K12 educational design
- Advanced software proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to independently solve complex design problems, manage fast-paced project lifecycles, and multitask effectively
- Willingness to pass background checks for working on sensitive K12 job sites
