Job Summary
K12 Manager Sales Account in New York focused on cultivating relationships and growing business with assigned distributor and/or K-12 operator accounts. Responsible for building relationships, selling incremental items, negotiating pricing/programs, delivering against volume and mix targets, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to meet market plans. Requires developing account insights, maintaining CRM records, supporting market events, and achieving assigned sales goals. Travel ~20-30% and relocation not offered. Must have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of outside sales experience in Food Service, Food Service Manufacturing, or Distributor Sales; K-12 experience preferred. Strong communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and Microsoft Office skills are needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience Food Service, Food Service Manufacturing, or Distributor Sales
- K-12 experience and commodity reprocessing experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking, planning, negotiation skills, understanding of motivational leadership skills, and conflict resolution skills
- Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products
