Job Summary
Greet customers, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate products based on individual preferences. Provide accurate product information regarding usage, benefits, and ingredients while informing clients of current promotions and loyalty programs. Operate the POS system to process transactions, package purchases neatly, and provide gift wrapping upon request. Assist with merchandising, restocking, visual displays, and maintaining store cleanliness including opening boxes and cleaning the bathroom. Support inventory counts, maintain situational awareness for safety, and collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and social media support. Continuously develop up-to-date product knowledge and contribute to overall store sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- A background check may be conducted after a conditional offer of employment, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of retail experience (beauty industry experience preferred)
- Bilingual in any language, especially Korean or Spanish, is a plus but not required
