Job Summary
K-8 Music Teacher responsible for planning and delivering music instruction for grades K-8, developing a curriculum including vocal performance, rhythm, music theory, and basic instrumental instruction; integrating Catholic liturgical music for Mass and prayer services; organizing student performances and events; maintaining classroom environment and music supplies; collaborating with staff to support school programs; and supporting Catholic education values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in music education or a related field preferred
- Teaching experience in music, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of vocal and/or instrumental music instruction
- Ability to work with students across a wide range of grade levels
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Willingness to support the mission and values of Catholic education
