K-5th Grade Teacher

K-5th Grade Teacher responsible for planning curriculum and instruction, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, guiding lessons to meet curricular goals, employing appropriate instructional methods, regularly assessing student progress, counseling with colleagues/parents, supervising teacher assistants, maintaining professional competence, and participating in staff activities. Requires ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff; strong content knowledge; and ability to manage classroom activities in a ten-month, FLSA Exempt role. Location is Fremont Elementary within Wayne County Public Schools in North Carolina.
