Job Summary
K-5 Teacher responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction within classrooms to help students learn subject matter and skills. Roles include managing instructional time, student behavior, instructional presentation, monitoring performance, providing feedback, facilitating instruction, and interacting with students, colleagues, families, and the community. Requires licensure-eligible education degree per NC DPI and the ability to perform essential classroom duties, operate standard classroom equipment, and maintain a productive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
