Job Summary
Provide academic assistance to assigned tutees, either in a group or individually. Help students develop positive attitudes toward learning, self-confidence, and necessary study skills while establishing rapport and serving as a role model. Collaborate with staff to assess student needs and maintain a clean, orderly environment. Work Monday through Friday on an as-needed basis at $15.00 per hour. Must possess a valid driver's license and meet No Child Left Behind requirements. Spanish speaking is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework
- Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the NC Department of Motor Vehicles
- Must meet No Child Left Behind requirements
