Job Summary
K-3 Teacher Assistant in Johnston County Public Schools. Provides academic assistance, group and individualized instruction, classroom materials preparation, testing proctoring, attendance and health data entry, and behavior support. Also serves as Bus Driver/Sub Bus Driver/Bus Monitor as required, with responsibility to obtain and maintain appropriate bus driver certification. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and eligibility as Highly Qualified, with 9-month term for the 2026-2027 school year. Location: Princeton, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must meet Highly Qualified Status by having one of the following qualifications: (1) Hold a 2 or 4 year degree, (2) Have completed 48 Semester Hours, or (3) Have completed the Pathways to TA Class and completed the accompanying WorkKeys Test.
