K-3 Special Education Teacher Strat II

K-3 Special Education Teacher Strat II delivers instruction to elementary students with a focus on meeting diverse learning needs. Responsible for implementing district-approved curriculum, developing and administering lessons, conducting ongoing assessments, differentiating instruction for individual students and small groups, and providing feedback to students, parents, and administrators regarding progress and expectations. Maintains accurate records and participates in parent communication, PLCs, and faculty activities. Coordinates with colleagues to evaluate and adjust curricula, administers standardized tests per district programs, applies formative assessment data to tailor instruction, and uses current technology to enhance learning. Fosters a safe, engaging classroom environment, supports responsible citizenship, and upholds district policies and procedures. The position is located in Slater, Iowa with a 190-day contract and benefits package as described by the district; duties include collaboration with instructional staff, attendance at staff meetings, and alignment with district goals and professional development.
