Job Summary
Coordinate reading programs through job-embedded professional learning, including pre-planning, data collection, classroom support, and reflective conversations with educators. Facilitate instructional coaching cycles involving goal setting, observation, modeling, co-teaching, and feedback to strengthen literacy instruction. Design and evaluate professional learning sessions to support PLC work and school-wide initiatives while analyzing diagnostic assessment data to inform instructional adjustments. Lead the literacy committee and MTSS teams in developing Individualized Reading Plans aligned to student needs and state standards. Maintain coaching records, confidentiality, and adherence to Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission standards. Full-time, 10-month position working from a home office in Utah.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Utah Professional Educator License in Elementary, Early Childhood Education, or Special Education (K-12)
- Completion of LETRS training or equivalent
- Professional Instructional Coaching endorsement or willingness to obtain within 2 years of hire
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary-level classroom teacher
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in education or related field
- Five (5) or more years of experience as an elementary-level classroom teacher
