Job Summary
Develop individualized educational programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder aligned with IEPs and evidence-based practices. Create structured, predictable learning environments while applying Applied Behavior Analysis principles to support academic, communication, and adaptive skill development. Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress, adjust interventions, and report outcomes to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Supervise classroom routines and direct paraprofessional staff, ensuring consistent implementation of behavior support plans and de-escalation procedures. Collaborate closely with related service providers, administrators, and families to facilitate two-way culturally responsive communication and propose new programming accommodations during team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education/Special Education
- MA Licensure-PreK-8 Moderate Special Needs or Severe Special Needs
- SEI endorsement
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education/Special Education or related field
- 3 years experience working with students with Autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience in applying the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
